I had the opportunity to attend Voices of Partition event hosted by 1947 Partition Archive at the Stanford University Campus. This archive is a citizen initiative to record 100,000 interviews by 2017 from survivors of the India and Pakistan independence partition in 1947. It goes beyond religion, caste, and creed to the record an event in history that continues to impact South Asia to this day.
